Privileged Access

Individuals with Privileged (Administrative) Access are in a critical position of trust and responsibility, as having elevated access to Winston-Salem State University’s (WSSU) sensitive information resources. The purpose of this standard is to provide a method for requesting privileged access for authorized business operations.

Ram ID Self-Service Password Reset

Use this service to reset your email/account password or unlock your account via the RAM Access Management Portal. This service does not reset or unlock Banner accounts.

RamCard

Request a new RAMCard, troubleshoot issues with your existing RAMCard, request building access, or request general information on RAMCard usage.

Remote Access

Secure remote access solutions enable faculty and staff to connect to campus resources and systems from any location. This service includes VPN access, remote desktop support, and secure connections to university networks, ensuring effective work and collaboration while off-campus.

Sponsored Account Request

Designed for an individual who is not a WSSU student, faculty member, or staff member and may be granted for a variety of reasons, including contractors who manage WSSU resources, volunteers, visiting faculty, and external research collaborators.
