Service Overview:
Our One-Time Software Installation Assistance service provides faculty and staff with IT support for installing software on university-issued computers when administrative access is required. This includes applications that may not be officially supported by the Office of Information Technology (OIT) but still need IT assistance for installation.
Many OIT-supported applications are available through the WSSU Self-Service Portal, accessible from the Start menu on Windows computers and the Launchpad on Mac computers. (Note: Mac users can obtain temporary admin access by enabling the Make Me an Admin feature for 30 minutes.)
