Approving a Ticket Request

The purpose of this guide is to provide Supervisors, Department Chairs, and other roles that are required to provide approval on service requests created in the RAMSupport system to departments including the Office of Information Technology, Human Resources, Enrollment Management, Facilities, etc.

  1. Visit the RAMSupport portal

  2. Select the portal where you will be approving requests.  For example, if you are expected to approve an HR request, select the Human Resources portal.
Note:  Ultimately it does not matter what portal you pick, you will be able to access your approvals list regardless.

Note: Assignments can be only to yourself, or to a group by vote or any one person’s approval.
