Purpose:
This article helps a end user requesting a change to the web site direction as to whom to contact for assistance and how to contact them.
Getting Started:
The WSSU public-facing web site is built in a robust content management system (CMS), Cascade. Its functionality and vibrant look and feel represents a step forward in terms of ease of use and shared responsibility. Our implementation of Cascade uses a workflow to maintain the accuracy and integrity of our web content.
The Office of Information Technology Application Administration Services (AAS) team and designated content SuperUsers work together and are responsible for creating, editing and maintaining the pages that make up the Winston-Salem State University public-facing web site.
SuperUsers ensure the accuracy, relevance, timeliness and overall appropriateness of content used to represent their college, school or departmental unit on the public-facing website. The SuperUser has the responsibility for maintaining the content of their respective pages; keeping content relevant and updated. Even so, the AAS team will be a point of contact for issues relating to the web site and will serve as a support unit to all CMS SuperUsers and Content Owners.
To identify who to contact for an update, corrections, creation of content and/or information needs regarding content on the Winston-Salem State University website review the SuperUser listing.
All request issued to Web Support Services must be done via RAMTech ticket.
