Service Overview:
If you suspect a computer abuse or security incident, please inform the WSSU OIT Information Security Officer using either the online or paper-based submission method. The incident will be directed to the Information Security Services Team. A preliminary analysis of the incident will take place by the team who will determine whether Incident Response Team activation is appropriate.
Your reported incident and your contact information will remain confidential. Our team takes anonymous tips and incidents as well, but please be aware that without a person to contact, an investigation may not be possible or effective.
Getting Started:
To submit an online IS incident report, please click on the "Report Incident" button, on the right.
To submit a paper-based incident report:
- Download and complete the Information Security Incident Report file to the right.
- Submit the form by one of the following:
- Email to security@wssu.edu
- Fax to 336-750-2093
- Inter-office mail to "OIT, EJCS Building - #1209
