Once applicants accept their offer of admission, then they will receive an email from OIT Access Management to their personal email account that was used to apply to the university informing them of their Banner ID, Ram ID, and Ram email address.

The account has a one-time use password (OTP) and must be changed.

The communication instructs the user to activate their Ram ID in the RAM Access Management Portal before it can be used.

Below are the instructions provided to the students:

1. Go to the RAM Access Management Portal website via https://pw.wssu.edu
2. Enter your Ram ID (provided above)
3. Enter your Password (initial password sent separately)
4. Click the "Login" button
5. Read and accept the Computer & Network Usage Policy presented
6. Complete at least three (3) security questions that will be easy for you to remember
7. Change your password according to the criteria listed on the page
8. Register your mobile device to receive One-Time Passcodes (OTP) when you need to reset your password
9. Click "Log Out" at the top right-hand corner
10. Please wait at least 5 minutes before trying to access email and other resources at https://my.wssu.edu with your WSSU RamID and new password.
