RAM PROOF - Report Suspicious Email Button

Purpose:

The “Report Suspicious” PhishAlarm button in your WSSU email allows better reporting, threat assessment, and classification feedback of messages.  The button is available to the Outlook desktop application, the web, and the smartphone app.  Each system has the “Report Suspicious” button located in different locations.  Once a message is submitted for scan, a classification message will be returned from RAMProof, letting you know if the message is malicious or not.  If the message is determined to be, in fact, malicious, the system will automatically remove it from your mailbox.

Getting Started:

Outlook Desktop Application:

Select the email that you want to report as suspicious.  The button is located in the “Message” Ribbon.  A confirmation message will be displayed once the button is clicked.

Outlook on the Web:

Select the email that you want to report and click the three dots (…) to open the dropdown options for the email.  The “Report Suspicious” button will be in the list of options.  A confirmation message will be displayed once the button is clicked.

Outlook App for SmartPhones:

Click on the email you want to report and click the three dots (…) for a list of options.  The “Report Suspicious” button will be in the list.  A confirmation message will be displayed once the button is clicked.
