Kahoot! integrates with Zoom to deliver engagement in video conferencing and virtual learning. The Kahoot! app for Zoom Meetings enables everyone to create seamless experiences that drive engagement and learning in video meetings.
Adding Kahoot to Zoom
- From the desktop, click on the Start (
) button.
- Scroll down and click on Zoom folder.
- Click on Zoom app.
- Log into the Zoom.

5. Open your Zoom meeting.

6. Click on Kahoot app. If it is not showing, then type kahoot in the Search box.
7. Click on Add button.

8. Click on Authorize button.

9. Click on Kahoot! button to the right of your Zoom screen.

10. Click on Log in button, which is on far right of the panel of your Zoom screen.

11. It will direct you to log back into Zoom meeting.
12. To know that you are logged into Kahoot! the Log in will be replaced with the Profile person.
13. The person that will be hosting Kahoot, clicks on Host button. The user(s) that will be playing Kahoot! will click on the Join button.

Host Kahoot!
1. This is what you will see if you click Host button. The Kahoot! games will show under the Library tab.
2. Select the Kahoot! game.
3. Make sure you save the Kahoot! under your name and not the school to see it.
Note: Under the Discover tab, you have the option to play other Kahoots that have been created by other users.

4. Place check in the pop-up box for “Start with game settings”.
5. Click on the Start button.

6. You can change some of the settings under Game options.
7. Click on one of the options for Player vs Player or Team vs Team.
8. Give the players the Game Pin number to join Kahoot!.
9. The user will type a name or email address if that’s what you require.

Key in the Game Pin number to join Kahoot!.
