How to enroll in Azure Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) for students.

 

Purpose:

How to register for MFA for students.

Getting Started:

  1. Log into myWSSU, or visit MFA Registration.
  2. Click on the o365 link for email.
  3. You will be presented with a "More information required" prompt. Click “Next”.

  1. You can register your Phone by Phone number or using the authenticator app.

4a. When using a phone number you have the option to get a text by code, or a phone call to confirm. You can only choose 1 method! Then click “Next”.

4b. When using the mobile app, you can choose to receive an approval notification or a code. Click the “Set up” Button and follow the steps to configure the app on your phone/device. Click “Next” once complete.

  1. Respond to your verification method chosen to proceed.
  2. Click “Done” for “Step 3: keep using your existing applications”.
  3. You will now have to re authenticate to your email and use your new MFA device to access the content.
