Quick Reference Guide: Team Member Navigation

Summary

A quick reference guide on how to navigate RAMSupport Client Portal’s project folder within the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) as a team member (resource).

Body

Signing into RAMSupport Client Portal

  1. Open a Google Chrome or Firefox Mozilla web browser window.
  2. Access the RAMSupport Client Portal
  3. Click Sign In.
  4. Login using your RAMID and Password credentials; click Sign In.
  5. Under RAMSupport Services click on RAMTech (OIT)
  6. Click on Projects/Workspaces (see Figure 1).

Viewing Projects

After selecting the Projects/Workspaces tab (see steps above) you will be able to view your assigned projects (see Figure 2-A/2-B).

Click the Project Name (See Figure 2-A/2-B).

Navigation Menu

The Navigation menu is located on top-left side of the project window.  Project Status information, date details, etc., are located within the Details window (see Figure 3).

Project Feed information, project updates, status changes, comments, etc., are located within the Feed window (see Figure 4).

Project Contacts info, email, etc., are located within the Contacts window (see Figure 5).

Project Issues info is located within the Issues window (see Figure 6). 

      1. Click Title of issue to view (see Figure 6).

If Assigned an Issue:

  1. View whose Responsible (see Figure 6) then click Title of issue to open.
  2. Select Update (if Responsible).
  3. Click on New Status (see Figure 7).
  4. Select a Status Cancelled, Completed, In Process, New or On Hold.
  5. Add/Update Comments.
  6. Add Notification.

*Note: A Resource must be selected.Select ‘All’ for entire team.

Project Links info, i.e. to Groups in Office 365 is located within the Links window (see Figure 8). 

  1. Click link Title (see Figure 8).
  2. Click URL to open (see Figure 9).

Project Plans info, i.e. project schedule, project card wall or individual tasks is located within the Plans window (see Figure 10). 

1. Click Title of plan to view (see Figure 10).

2. Plan will open in new window; options Schedule (see Figure 10-A) or Card Wall tasks (see Figure 10-B) is dependent on what the project manager has uploaded.

Figure 12 Update

  1. View under Resources for your name then click Title of issue to open (see Figure 11).
  2. Select Update (see Figure 12).
  3. Click on Status drop-down menu (see Figure 13).
  4. Select a Status New, In Process, Completed or On Hold.
  5. Edit Percent Complete.
  6. Add Comments.
  7. Add Notification. *Note: A Resource must be selected.Select ‘All’ for entire team.
  8. Click Save.
