Work Instruction V: Feed & Issues Navigation

Summary

Instructions on how to navigate the Feed menu and Issues menu, to include creating a new issue, viewing assigned issues, and updating an issue.

Body

Feed

The ability to view or edit project feeds (snap-shot of project actions).

  1. Click Feed on the Navigation menu (see Figure 1).
  2. Click the Comment button
  3. Select Feed TypeEdits, Status Changes, or Comments.
  4. Add/Update Comments
  5. Click Save

Click Save after all project info entries/updates.

Issues

The ability to enter, assign, and view project tasks. 

Create New Issue

  1. Click Issues on the Navigation menu (see Figure 2).Figure 3 – Create New Issue
  2. Click the New button.
  3. Type a Title (see Figure 3).
  4. Select the Category (“General” from drop down).
  5. Select the Priority (Select from drop down).                     
  6. Select Status (drop down: Cancelled, Completed, In Process, New, or On Hold).
  7. Add/Update Description.
  8. Enter Start Date and Due Date.
  9. Enter Responsible (*Note:  Resource is required).
  10. Click Save.

Click Save after all project info entries/updates.

View Assigned Issue

  1. Click on the Title (of assigned issue).
  2. Click the Actions button.
  3. Click Update Take Issue, Convert to Ticket, Move, Delete, Forward or Flag (see Figure 4).

Click Save after all project info entries/updates.

Update Issue

  1. Click the Title (of assigned issue).Figure 5 – Update Issue
  2. Click Actions button.
  3. Select Update.
  4. Click on New Status.
  5. Select a Status Cancelled, Completed, In Process, New or On Hold.
  6. Add/Update Comments.
  7. Add Notification. (*Note: A Resource must be selected.Select ‘All’ for entire team).
  8. Browse and select any Attachment(s).
  9. Click Save (see Figure 5).

Click Save after all project info entries/updates.
